Active Worlds - Collaborative 3d Virtual Reality Environment

In the past year I have seen greater active engagement and increased intrinsic motivation towards learning from my students through the use of Active Worlds (virtual learning environment).  This led me to ask the following questions about Active Worlds:

5) Active Worlds Promotes Full Brain Learning (Oppenheimer, Perry, Bruer, Healy)
6) Active Worlds Promotes Technology Integration that Leads to Improved Student Achievement (Wenglinski)

II.  What factors in my classroom & school environment impact the use of Active Worlds?

1) Intrinsic Motivation

3) Social Constructs
4) Collaborative Learning
5) Active Engagement
6) Frequency & Quality of Feedback - Interactions
