A Virtual Fairy Tale
is a collaborative project that unites primary-school students
in the United States, Great Britain, and Singapore. Together
these young authors will work to build an original fairy tale
story. This web page shows a simple outline of the story.
The story is part of a larger attempt to engage students of
diverse cultures; overcoming barriers of distance and time
to work with peers around the world. Students will begin to
interact directly with each other through the use of Active
Worlds. Active Worlds provides a online 3D environment where
students will watch their efforts come to life. To find out
